In 2022 I did an exhibition at Floating Goose Studios in Adelaide, South Australia called “Boys Boys Boys” This series of works were interested in the socialisation of young boys, the symbols and images of suburban living that manifest themselves in the metaphysical world of our dreaming. They were looking at how dreaming and our wakeful lived experiences are intimately linked and how they interact with one another. Men’s and the artists own daydreaming and perceptions of what is real and how that influences their negative traits such as apathy, lethargy, and entitlement is at the centre of this work. The space between where we sleep and where dreams begin. The red hot, beating, fleshy, fever dream that is existing.
This painting was apart of that series and was named a poem called

"I’m a well practiced stranger.
An anti bedroom re arranger.
Incense is cool but I just think fire danger.
Deodorant, dinner, static tv, knickers with a love heart that inside reads
“Jesus Christ is our lord and saviour”."
